Shipping Container - November 2008 |

With God’s Little Ones will be shipping a large container to Uganda in November. They have given us space to include much needed items for Naigobya and other villages.
Containers are ideal for heavy bulky items that the airlines will not let us take in our luggage. We also like to send items that are of higher quality (and lower cost) than what is available in Uganda.
We offer praise to the God who provides and stand in awe as He brings together people with passions for healthcare, alternative power, nutrition, carpentry, sewing, farming and even garage sale-ing! Thank you to everyone who contributed.
Our portion of the container will be filled with the following:
- A complete solar power system and refrigerator that will be installed at the Naigobya Health center. This system will run the medical equipment and also a small refrigerator to store medicines and vaccines.
- A pallet of food which was donated by Feed My Starving Children (www.fmsc.org). The 32 boxes of food are enough to provide 7,128 meals!
- Sewing machines to expand the Naigobya Training Center and also begin training in other villages.
- Large equipment for the Carpentry Training Project: a generator, chain saw, table saw and supplies.
- Farming equipment such as sprayers and miscellaneous tools.
- Children’s clothing and 75 pairs of shoes which were purchased with a portion of the proceeds of the May 2008 garage sale.
